(CAR) AUTOMOBILE INJURY

Introduction

Often enough in medico-legal practice, it is necessary to investigate traumatic consequences deadly and not deadly influence on the person of various kinds of vehicles. Such damages concern a blunt injury, however have considerable prominent features, therefore are considered separately from other kinds of a blunt trauma.
These are some kinds of a transport injury: automobile, motorcycle, rail, aviation, from a sailing charter and etc. The automobile injury (trauma) will be in detail considered in this article.

The Car injury is most extended in practice. On its example we will consider medico-legal possibilities of the decision of the questions arising during investigation of such incidents.

The automobile trauma is classified differently. For example, this following classification:
1. An injury from the follow of car on the person (the basic component — blow by any parts of the car on a body of the person).
2. Moving by car wheels (the basic distinctive component — rolling of the car wheel through the body of the person full or incomplete).
3. Loss of the person from the moving car.
4. An injury inside the car.
5. Body pressing between parts of the car and other subjects.
6. A combination of the listed kinds of a trauma.

The variety of an automobile injury is defined by variety of factors which influence the mechanism of occurrence of this injury. We will mention only basic of them:
1. The car speed.
2. The form of an injuring surface.
3. The sizes of a vehicle.
4. Position of the victim’s body at the moment of a trauma.
5. Presence of the elements softening blow or other influence of the damaging factor (for example, thick, dense and soft clothes on a body).
6. Growth, weight and other features of a victim Influence of the listed factors on character of the damages resulting injury, is shown in their interaction with each other.
